Baring flesh is always risky. And not just in a sexual way. Being emotionally naked, exposed, and vulnerable. That’s the scary part. Exposing what is underneath. There is beauty there certainly. In fact, there is often beauty that escapes our comprehension because we are too busy hiding behind coverings or facades or … instagram feeds. Suffice it to say, everything is not what it appears. To be naked is to be free. And freedom, although pined for by many, is often a scary ordeal. Because nobody wants to be judged and everyone harbors insecurities. It is the human condition.
