“Justice” is inspired by an iconic photograph of a young protester during the 1950’s. The quiet determination of her gaze tells the story. She will not relinquish her civil rights in the land of her birth. No doubt she has been heckled, threatened, and perhaps even physically assaulted and yet, despite it all, she remains steadfast. She is most definitely afraid. Her life is in real danger. But her eyes are on the prize of liberty and death is not too high a price for her to pay for it.
