There are many sides to our personalities. Some of which, we are not even aware. Even as an artist I am constantly amazed at how my intentions in a work often convey messages far beyond my imagination. Revealed in the process are the parts of myself that are embedded beyond consciousness. This is why art matters. It is perhaps the truest expression of the human experience because it requires a creator and (often) a series of interpreters. Somewhere in the symbiosis of creator and viewer meaning is produced. No two people will feel or experience the art the same way.
